A 1960's hard to find Kirsten Flattop pipe, Made in the USA but sold in the Canadian market.
These pipes get their name from being flat on the top where the bowl screws on.
This is a Straight 1/2 inch ID, 3-1/4 inch long shank Kirsten tobacco pipe.
Left side of aluminum body is stamped KIRSTEN. Bottom is stamped PATS. & PATS. PEND. MADE IN U.S.A.
The aluminum body has polished back to new finish.
The bit is the original, restored and very nice.
The bowl is the restored original Kirsten briar bowl.
A nice endcap / valve that is unique to this pipe and different from all other Kirsten pipes, with O-ring (the knurling is not perfect but very nice).

Length: 5-inches. Bowl height-bottom of bowl to top of bowl: 1-1/8 inches. Bowl width at widest point: 1-7/16 inches. Chamber width: 7/8- inch. depth: approx. 1 - inch.
