THIS IS A VERY RARE RESTORED PIPE FROM THE LATE 40'S, MADE BY OR STAMPED "GENTLE". IT LOOKS TO HAVE BEEN SMOKED VERY LITTLE AND IS PERFECT IN EVERY WAY! 
THE ALUMINUM SHANK AND FINNED BOWL CUP ARE PERFECT AND POLISHED TO A MIRROR BRIGHT SHINE. THE ORIGINAL BIT IS PERFECT.
 
THE ORIGINAL BRIAR BOWL IS VERY UNIQUE, THERE IS A SMALL LEDGE INSIDE THAT A ROUND PERFORATED DISK FITS DOWN ONTO, THE BOWL ITSELF LIGHTLY PRESSES DOWN INTO THE FINNED ALUMINUM CUP. THERE IS A LINE DOWN THE SIDE OF THE BOWL. THIS IS NOT A SPLIT OR CRACK IT IS A FLAW IN THE BRIAR WHEN THE BOWL WAS MADE. PLEASE LOOK CLOSE AT THE PHOTO.
THE END VALVE IS PERFECT AND ALSO QUITE UNIQUE, THERE IS A SMALL BAND TO THE INSIDE THAT YOU CAN TURN TO ADJUST AN OUTSIDE AIR FLOW THROUGH THE PIPE, CLOSE COMPLETELY OR THE AMOUNT OF OUTSIDE AIR YOU WANT
THESE PIPES DON'T COME UP OFTEN SO NOW IS YOUR CHANCE TO OWN A PIECE OF METAL PIPE HISTORY.

My metal estate (used) Pipes are lightly cleaned, and buffed (shanks and aluminum parts polished). The Buyer must clean and sanitize the pipe to their own standards before use. Unless otherwise stated estate pipes are used and may have minor use marks on the briar and minor marks on the stem.
