This is a truly unique and rare set of pipes known to have been made by the Luminum-Kraft company.
I have been lucky over many years to have had five sets of these pipes, three of the two pipe sets and two of the single pipe sets. This is the first one that I have restored, the others I had were sold in "as found" condition.
What I have learned; all of the sets I have had came with the pipes referred to on the "Smoking Metal" web site (links below) as MOB-4 and MOB-5, I have never had any that came with the luminumkraft 35 or the luminumkraft 50 pipes, not to say that they were never sold that way. However, I don't believe that they were. The holes in the bottom of the wood stand that the pipes stand in is drilled to the same point as that of the end caps on the end of the pipes, they are a perfect fit. that being said these are just my thoughts.

The aluminum on both of the pipes and the stand is perfect, polished to a beautiful mirror bright shine.
The aluminum end caps are also very nice.
The wood on the wood base and briar bowls has been sanded and restored to new and rubbed with gloss tung oil. I don't think any of the bowls were smoked a lot, the insides of them have been handed sanded back to new.
The bits/mouth pieces are the original plastic ones and have been restored,  they came out really really nice but in my opinion are not absolutely perfect. Please look closely at the photos  
I put a lot of time and work into restoring this set and hope someone will enjoy it as much as i do.

My metal estate (used) Pipes are lightly cleaned, and buffed (shanks and aluminum parts polished). The Buyer must clean and sanitize the pipe to their own standards before use. Unless otherwise stated estate pipes are used and may have minor use marks on the briar and minor marks on the stem.
